GeoFence Capability

Creating a GeoFence is really easy and can be done from any map you may be viewing. You simply click on the "Create Perimeter" button which you'll find on the right-hand side of any map. The screen will turn slightly grey to let you know that you have entered that mode. You will also see a yellow button that says "Drag a region on the map. You can drag in any direction, so you simply put your mouse at one corner of where you want the GeoFence to be, click and hold down the left mouse button and drag the mouse pointer away from that point. You will see a box appear and it will stretch as you drag it. You can only let up on the left mouse button once and at that point you geoFence has been defined, but not saved. At this point, you will see a green button that says "Add Perimeter". When you click the button, you will be asked to provide a name for the GeoFence. You can name it anything you want, but be aware that the name will appear in the reports and event descriptions. After you press "OK", you will then see a message above the map stating "Perimeter successfully added". That's it, you now have a GeoFence. Here are screen shots of all this:

If you don't like your GeoFence, you can simply repeat the process and your new GeoFence will overlay your existing GeoFence.

Once you have a GeoFence defined, any and all records you import into the web will be programtically compared to the definition to see if your spouse either entered the GeoFence or exited the GeoFence. Also you can see from the screen shots of maps, events, and reports, it's easy to get a handle on their visits to the location you're suspicious about. You can even filter the report to only show GeoFence events and run it for an extended date range, such as a whole month to quickly and easily show whaich days they went there and how long they stayed each time. Talk about leaving them with their mouth hanging wide open, but this kind of proof is all you need. Here are a couple of screen shots of both an Enter GeoFence and an Exit GeoFence event on a report.

GeoFence Report - Month Image

This reports shows all of your spouses visits to the GeoFence area you defined for a date range. In this case, they went there 8 time during the month of April, sometimes at lunch, sometimes in the afternoon and sometimes on the weekend. You can do this easily by filtering the report by GeoFence Events only. This removes all other events and gives you a clear concise picture of when they've been doing their thing. This is perfect information for the intial confrontation and your attorney, if it comes to that, just might like it as well.
