Does it work?
Even though the "Digital P.I." GPS device is among the smallest commercially available devices in the world, it is a precision instrument. It can track over 50 satellites simultaneously, with more than enough flash memory to log it's position for the duration of the battery charge, which is typically 48-72 hours. It is accurate to within 50 feet, dependent on how many satellites are in view.

As with any GPS device, certain materials will interfere with the satellite signal, such as metal roofs and concrete. If the device does not have a GPS fix, it will not log data. The unit will continue to log while inside most houses and many buildings.

Is it legal?
The laws governing the use of Personal Tracking devices differ in every state in the US and are always subject to change.
